RAW EWE WOOL, POLYETHELYNE, ALUMINUM

+

+ is a work in progress. Raw wool, wet felted and dry needled into a mesh. The process is slow and physical, rooted in the tacit knowledge of felting: a making that lives in the hands and the body before it lives anywhere else. The hanging installation grows out of a life lived in movement — leaving family young, never quite settling, carrying the question of home without a stable answer. Textile feels like the right language for this: cloth has always been what people carry with them, what travels, what endures. By constructing shelter from scratch in this way, the piece asks what it means to build a home — not as survival, but as longing. Inside, a single lightbulb burns: quiet, domestic, stubborn. Something that insists on warmth even inside a structure that was never meant to stay.
